ROLES OF RMCJ
The role of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMJC) as a revenue
collector, facilitates trade and law enforcement demand for RMJC to act
proactively and strategically to achieve the excellence of services expected by
the stakeholders. This excellence will be realized through a holisticly
designed strategic planning. The strategic plan is the official written
document of the department which contains policies and strategic programs to
achieve organizational goals within the stipulated period.
The
main components of the strategic plan include vision, mission, strategic
issues, strategic thrusts, strategies and action plans. RMJC's Strategic Plan
2015-2019 is a continuation of previous strategic plans. This plan is developed
to map the direction, policy framework for development agenda, modernization of
management and service delivery system for the next five years. To fulfilling
this wish, JKDM once again transforms its vision, mission, shared values and
slogans to be relevant to current changes to uplift RMJC as the world's leading
and world-class agency.
